Jake Charles has quickly become a renowned painter & decorator in North Cornwall since he established the business back in 2014.  He has been in the industry for many years having started off at a local yacht building business where attention to detail was key in painting the interior and exterior of several different styles of top end sailing boats.

 

From here Jake moved on to painting on a much larger commercial scale with a company specialising in large new build developments and after two years decided the time was right to focus more on the customer and set up on his own.

 

The rest as they say is history and Jakes business has gone from strength to strength.  He has a fantastic relationship with local letting agencies and estate agents such as John Bray, Cole Rayment and White and Miller Countrywide having taken on contracts for holiday rentals and new home owners who want to freshen up their new homes. 

 

The upturn in business in 2017 required Jake to take on a new member to the team and we are now able to quote for jobs all over Cornwall and further grow the business in our beautiful county we get to call home.

2018 proved to be another fantastic year, taking on a large scale hotel renovation as well as numerous private residential projects.

​

2020 and 2021 saw the Coronavirus Pandemic hit businesses around the globe.  Fortunately, after a small period of closure due to government regulations and lockdowns, we were able to return to full strength and we were extremely pleased that our customers both old and new put their trust in us and kept us busy and booked out months in advance.

 

2022 brought a large upturn in clients and requests from local businesses and we now have a team of highly skilled and trusted decorators that we can turn to and select from in order to ensure work of the highest quality.

The next few years brough more success and growth to the business not only growing our residential client base but also working with a number of prestige building firms in the county enabling us to decorate some stunning new builds and help to restore and renew some of Cornwall's most beautiful older homes.

2026 has started on a high with Jake bringing his brother-in-law into the business who is quickly showing us why he was made for this trade.  With the same exacting, high standards as Jakes business is built on Jamie has fit into the team perfectly and will enable us to take on more work this coming year and in years to come.
